I recently invested in the MAC Studio Finish Concealer after being introduced to it by one of the girls in the Spitalfields MAC store as I have been suffering from a very obvious, painful and VERY red outbreak of blemishes on my chin. I know make-up isn't the best thing if you want to clear up your spots but I am so self-conscious of the appearance of my skin lately that I have to cover them up when I'm out. The girl was very helpful and knew immediately that this wonder-product would help the appearance of my skin and after being shown the effect in the mirror after she used the tiniest amount on me, I was sold.
It claims to be a lightweight and discreetly opaque creamy concealer. I was surprised to learn that this could even help cover a tattoo! They don't lie when they say you need the tiniest amount- I've not even scratched the surface of this tiny pot after using it practically everyday for two weeks. My concealer brush is rubbish so I need to invest in a new one, so I find lightly using a foundation brush to buff it in gives the best results. I barely touch up with any foundation or powder and it's as if my spots don't even exist! I'm hoping that they will clear up soon because they are making my life hell at the moment but I'm at ease knowing I have this amazing concealer to make me feel less self-conscious until they do.
